Can i shave in the navy, navy Boot Camp and training camp... etc?
I have excessive hair (in certain areas that has to be removed at least once a week) or im itchy and miserable. Especially when i sweat. So i can i shave or wax in boot camp & training camp.. I know this should probally be the least of my worries, But i need to know. & while im asking questions, what am i allowed to have in training camp?? and what am i not allowed to have?? This is a serious question.!!
When I went through in 2002, there was no time for shaving and definetly not waxing. We weren't allowed to bring out razors into the shower on most days, only Sundays we were allowed too.
Showering at boot camp isn't a 45 minutes to yourself thing, it's a 45 minutes for 50 women sharing 10 showerheads things.
Trust me, everyone else is hairy looking too.
After boot camp, you can shave or wax how ever often you want. Boot camp just isn't the time.
