I got this really cute pair or ankle boots (on sale spur of the moment type buy) and I don't know what to wear them with. Any suggestions?

wear them with skinny jeans, not flares cause they will just cover The Shoes.
wear them bare legged with a cute skirt
even with tights or leggings (not the ones that end after the knee, the ones that go to your anklkes!) would be cute if its not hot out.
