How long does the waterproofing spray last on Ugg Boots?
I have been wearing my MENS CLASSIC SHORT CHESTNUT UGG boots for close to 4 weeks now. Before I started wearing them I waterproofed them (3 coats). My feet stayed warm and dry. Someone said to wear socks with them so they don't smell cause I wear them barefoot. The first time I wore socks I had a wet spot by my big toe that soaks all the way through. Is it the socks or do they need to be re coated with waterproofing? The UGG info sheet says to wear them barefoot which I have been to maximize the benefits of the boots. Anything helpful is great.
Waterproofing usually should last a couple months, depending on how much you wear them. If you wear them often, waterproof them every two weeks or so just to be on the safe side. Only two coats is necessary to keep them dry.
