Would these be socially accepted in daily life?
I pretty much loath wearing shoes. They are always kicked off right when I get in the door at my home and most other homes we visit (luckily for me part of that is because they don't want shoes in their house!). Shoes just feel awkward and restrictive on my feet; I just don't feel comfortable in them.
I found these shoes designed to allow for as much natural foot movement as possible while still protecting the feet. They're designed mostly for physical activity (both indoor and outdoor) and not so much for just regular daily activities, but I really want to try a pair for just daily life. I know that Chacos are also designed as active-wear shoes but are pretty socially excepted as Casual Shoes. Do you think I could get away with wearing these on a daily basis (where sneakers etc would normally be accepted)?

(I've worn 'sticky shoes,' before, so I'm not unknown to wear things that get stared at!)
